This Privacy Policy explains how Pinggr ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use the Pinggr apps and website at pinggr.com (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Account information: name, email address and/or phone number, and profile photo you provide.
Content: messages, media, music and reels you send or upload. Private messages are stored to deliver them to their recipients and are not made public.
Usage & device data: app interactions, device identifiers, and a push-notification token used to deliver messages and calls.
Contacts: if you choose to, you may sync contacts to find people you know on Pinggr.
We use your information to: provide and operate the Service (deliver messages, connect calls, play music, show reels); authenticate you and secure your account; send notifications for messages and calls; improve reliability and performance; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only: with other users as needed to deliver your messages and public content; with service providers that help us operate Pinggr (for example, push-notification delivery via Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, and hosting/relay infrastructure); and where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Reels and profile details you mark as public may be visible to anyone, including on public pages of pinggr.com and search engines. Do not share anything publicly that you wish to keep private.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
You may access, update or delete your account information from within the app, or by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights over your personal data (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), including access, correction, deletion and portability.
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Pinggr is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
